Went up to Little Jimmy Friday night. Posted on the bulletin board "No Campfires". Bummer, was looking forward to a nice fire. Oh well, early bedtime!
Went up to Mt Islip Saturday. Beautiful day up there, but there was some marine layer, so the views were less than spectacular. The big news is that Ed Pitzer replaced the summit register with a new plastic ammo can, along with a new pad and lots of pens. He said that he took home the old entries, as they were wet, and was wondering what to do with them. I said bring 'em back. I like looking at old entries.
Little Jimmy Spring was running fine.
All in all, a good trip.
