I Just Got back from Whitney at 2:30 this morning after a successful summit and amazing trip. From Bear encounters, steep and icy terrain, difficult ice covered scrambles, and amazing people this trip had it all. The trip report as well as pictures are on my blog: http://questforbigcitymountaineers.blogspot.com/

P.S. My buddy Peter and I both had esipiraten stickers on our helmets and saw the 2 that were on the summit register.

Nice work man, and smart move camping up at Iceberg. If your head isn't pounding too much, that's the way to go.

Thanks Man! None of us really felt the altitude that day. I think we acclimated enough at the portal so going from 8,300' to 12,300' wasn't hard on us.
