San Gabriel Mountains - Peak Identification?

Does anyone know where I can find a photo or image that identifies all the major peaks of the San Gabriel Mountains? I've found a couple of photos but haven't come across a comprehensive peak identification photo. Any leads are much appreciated.

Re: Pacific Crest Trail (Cajon - Little Jimmy - Soledad)

Has anyone been up to the Little Jimmy area recently? I was wondering what the conditions (i.e. snow on the ground) are at the campground. Any 411 would be appreciated. Thanks.

Thank you for the 411!

Re: Water at Ski Hut (Baldy Bowl)?

I've never seen the stream by the Ski Hut on the Baldy Bowl Trail run dry but I was wondering if anyone can confirm that it is flowing right now? Any info would be much appreciated. Thanks!

Re: Pacific Crest Trail (Cajon - Little Jimmy - Soledad)

I was able to locate 3 decent camp spots, about 50 yards east of the PCT/western Mt. Burnham use trail junction just below (northside) the PCT. I read on summitpost that there is a nice camp spot on the "forested north side of this peak, just below the PCT as it passes below the north face of B...

Re: Fire in SG East Fork

Yes, I believe it is. Here's a closer shot of the fire around 8:30am on Sat. WTF? How does a fire start there! That's like Gunsight Notch or something isn't it? I don't think this is related to this fire, but this is a small fire I observed just east of Iron Mt. from the PCT on my way to Baden-Powel...

Re: Fire in SG East Fork

I don't think this is related to this fire, but this is a small fire I observed just east of Iron Mt. from the PCT on my way to Baden-Powell on Saturday. I saw air tankers do multiple drops of red fire retardant in an attempt to contain this fire. I haven't seen any reports on this fire. https://eis...

GRR will be closed from 11am on race day and prior to that time, parking is available on a first come first served basis. GMR will be subject to a rolling clos...

Re: Pacific Crest Trail (Cajon - Little Jimmy - Soledad)

You can obtain the CA campfire permit at a ranger station. Otherwise, you can download and sign this 2011 permit, which is valid in CA.

Spent a night at Monte Cristo on Monday night to view the Geminids meteor shower. We were the only ones at the campground that set up a tent. Not sure what they were up to, but there were 2 other cars that left the campground by 4am. Maybe it's a bit more quiet during the weekends, but I will defini...
